MANKATO, Minn.— The Bethany Lutheran women's track and field team opened the season at the Chuck Petersen Open, hosted by Minnesota State Mankato Saturday.
The Vikings placed eighth in the 12-team field with 16.5 points.
"There were multiple personal records shattered today and some firsts for some of our athletes as well," said head coach Michael Dunn. "I am pleased with what I saw today and know our coaching staff is looking forward to see what this group can accomplish this season."
