Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 TUCSON, AZ – It was a busy day for the BLC softball team as they played three games. The Vikings started the day with a 6-3 win over Mount Mary. In game two, the Vikings lost to Skidmore College for the second time by a score of 3-1. In their final game of the day against Dickinson (PA), the Vikings won in dramatic fashion with a walk-off hit from Eden Ambrose to capture a 1-0 win.
 
Both teams showed up ready to play as the first inning saw a combined eight runs scored with the Vikings holding a 5-3 edge. Haylee Sobrero drove in the first run of the game on her way to a 2-4 outing that included a double. Zoe Kinakin also helped out the Vikings in the first inning with a double to center field. Kinakin was 1-3 in the game with two RBIs. The Vikings added one more run to their total in the fifth inning to take a 6-3 lead.
 
The Vikings' defense and pitching held Mount Mary scoreless after the first inning. Shelby Bloemendaal got the win, pitching six innings with five hits and three runs given up.
 
In game two, Haylee Sobrero drove in Kaylee Mork to give BLC a 1-0 lead after one. Unfortunately, that was the only run of the game the Vikings would score. Skidmore was able to tie the game in the second and then took a 2-1 lead in the fourth. Skidmore put one more run on the board and won 3-1. The Vikings scattered six hits between Mork, Sobrero, Ambrose, Jenna Reynolds, Courtney Williams, and Sarah Presler.
 
Game three was another pitching and defensive battle. The teams were locked at zero through six and a half innings which included a no-hitter for the Dickinson pitcher. In the bottom of the seventh, Kaylee Mork boarded first base on balls. She advanced to second on a sac-fly from Sarah Presler and then was driven in with a single to left field from Eden Ambrose.
 
Bria Majeski pitched a great game for the Vikings, giving up zero runs with nine strikeouts.
