Vikings Travel to Face Knights

MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (3-2 overall) travels to face Martin Luther (2-4-1) Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. This will be a nonconference contest. The Vikings have won their last two-straight and the Knights have dropped their last two contests.

BLC leads the all-time series at 17-8-2 as the programs have met at least once a year since 2004.

Bethany Lutheran
Freshman Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) leads the team with six goals for 12 points. Classmate Joao Bastos (Piracicaba, Brazil) follows with three goals and one assists for seven points. Freshman Luke Oosterbosch (Veldhoven, The Netherlands) has a team-best six assists.

Senior Moritz Bruns (Leer, Germany) has a .818 save percentage and 1.04 goals against average.

Bruns is tied for sixth in goalkeeper wins (4) and ninth in saves (85). Senior Samuel Duran (Marshall, Minn.) is seventh in goals (12) and tied for ninth in points (27). Classmate Jonny Sehloff (Mankato, Minn.) is tied for eighth in goals (11) and tied for 10th in points (24).

Oosterbosch ranks second in assists (6) and he and Busch are tied for sixth with one PK. Busch is tied for sixth with two game-winning goals and tied for ninth in goals (6).

Martin Luther
Luke Meihack and Joe Graumann pace the Knights with four goals each. Keeper Josiah Mittelstadt has logged the most time in net and has a .714 save percentage and one shutout.
