MANKATO, Minn.—Bethany Lutheran women's soccer (4-3 overall) defeated North Central (0-6) in a nonconference contest Saturday. This marked the 18
th-straight victory for the Vikings in the series.
The game was scoreless until the 32
nd minute when sophomore Zoe Kinakin (Victoria, British Columbia) scored as the ball bounced off the cross bar and into the back of the net.
BLC held the 1-0 lead through halftime until junior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) connected on a free kick at 59:05.
The Rams sliced the lead in half with their score at 82:22 until sophomore Kathryn Warner (Sullivan, Wis.) regained a two-goal lead for Bethany as she scored on a pass from senior Haley Sisson (Minneapolis) at 87:07 for her first collegiate goal.
As a team, the Vikings owned the advantages in shots (26-5) and corner kicks (7-2).
