MANKATO, Minn.—Bethany Lutheran women's soccer (4-4 overall) fell 2-0 to nonconference opponent Buena Vista (2-6) Wednesday night.

The game was scoreless until 32:53 when BV's shot attempt went off the post and into the net. Buena Vista doubled its lead seven minutes later as it capitalized on a lot of traffic in front of the net and scored at 40:29.

As a team, the Vikings owned the advantages in shots (21-6). The corner kicks were even at five all.

Junior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) had a team-high 11 shots.
