MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran softball team (1-1 overall) travels to face Saint Benedict for a doubleheader at the SJU Dome in Collegeville, Minn. This marks the season opener for the Bennies.

The Series
Saint Benedict leads the all-time series at 1-0, as it won the inaugural meeting, 4-6, on March 5, 2018.

Bethany Lutheran
Senior Haylee Sobrero (Paradise, Calif.) is the leading hitter with her .750 batting average. Junior Eden Ambrose (Hugo, Minn.) follows at .600 and classmate Tara George (Cottonwood, Calif.) is at .500.

Sophomore Kassidy Cunningham ( Portage La Prairie, Manitoba) leads the pitching staff in the circle with her 1.29 ERA and has three strikeouts.

Career Records Watch
Sobrero is tied for eighth in triples (8). Sarah Presler is tied for third in stolen bases (18). Taylor Kottke, Kaylee Mork, Morgan Mashlan and Eden Ambrose are all tied for eighth with 14.

Zoe Kinakin is ninth in putouts (226).
