MANKATO, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran women's soccer team (10-5, 7-3) defeated Crown (3-11-1, 1-9-1) 6-0 Friday. With the win, the Vikings broke the previous season record for shutouts of nine set in 2010.
The victory also clinched a spot in the UMAC tournament for the third-straight season.
Senior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) finished with three goals and one assist for seven points. Her first score occurred at 18:50 into the game for the early 1-0 lead.
