MORRIS, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran women's soccer team (12-5, 9-3) defeated Minnesota Morris (6-11, 6-6) 5-0 Monday night. The five goals marked the most scored against the Cougars.
All five goals occurred in the first half. Sophomore Lexi Kaufman (Fairmont, Minn.) netted her first of her career-high two goals at 11:30.
Senior Zoe Kinakin (Victoria, British Columbia) played the entire first half in net and was credited with the win. She is now the career leader in keeper victories with 18 to surpass the previous mark of 17 set by Katie Renner in 2006-09.
