Box Score MINNEAPOLIS – Six Bethany Lutheran (3-4 overall, 3-4 UMAC) players recorded career-highs in the 3-2 (18-25, 25-19, 25-16, 22-25, 15-11) win over North Central (2-9, 0-7) Thursday. This marked the eighth-straight win over the Rams.
Sophomores Kasidy Cacka (Brownton, Minn.) had 17 kills, Alexis Morsching (Morristown, Minn.) had 16 kills, and Karlee Thiesse (Welcome, Minn.) finished with 13 to set new personal bests.
Classmate Cheyenne Owens (Truman, Minn.) tallied a career-best 53 assists as she ran the team's offense. Senior Bethany Karnopp (Albuquerque, NM) had a career-high 16 digs and sophomore Amia Broughten (Waseca, Minn.) had a career-best four service aces.
Cacka finished with a double double as she had 13 digs.
As a team, the Vikings owned the advantages in kills, assists, service aces, and digs.
Bethany concludes the two-game road trip Saturday against Northland at 3 p.m.
