Busch Sets Another Career Record in Shutout Against Northland

ASHLAND, Wis. – Sophomore Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) set another career record as he became Bethany Lutheran's career leader in points in the 3-0 win over Northland Saturday.

Busch tied the career mark of 68 with his goal at 34:28 on a pass from fresman Raheem Graham (Legwood, Hanover).

This remained the score through halftime. He became the all-time leader with his tally at 59:32 on a penalty kick. The record of 68 was set by Joe Nuah from 2008-11.

Busch scored all three goals for the Vikings, as his final goal was on an assist by freshman Thijs Middeldorp (Landgraaf, The Netherlands).

Sophomore keeper Mason Steffen (Kiel, Wis.) earned the shutout.
