Late Goal Downs Vikings

Box Score SIOUX CENTER, Iowa. – The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (1-2 overall) fell 2-1 to Dordt (1-5-2) as to continue a five-game road trip.

The game was scoreless through halftime.

The Defenders netted the first goal, and junior Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) put the Vikings on the board with his first score of the day.
 
Dordt took advantage of a lot of traffic in front of the net for its second goal at 83:42.
 
Bethany owned the advantage in shots (16-14) and corner kicks (5-1).
 
Freshman Nick Lundberg (Mankato, Minn.) made a career-high eight saves in net.
 
BLC continues its road trip Tuesday against #18 Gustavus at 4 p.m.
