GENEVA, Ohio— Junior Jake Marzinske (St. Paul) took 11^th in the triple jump at the NCAA Championships Saturday with his leap of 14.58m (47' 10").
 
His mark stands second-best in program history.
 
The competition took place at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The University of Mount Union served as hosts.
 
Marzinske is the first individual across the Bethany Lutheran department to qualify for nationals.
