MORRIS, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran women's outdoor track and field team placed second at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championships with 149 points. This ties the best finish in program history (also achieved in 2017).
Sophomore Kayla Tobin (Watertown, Wis.) won her first outdoor title in the 5,000. This was the first title in this event in program history, on either the men's or women's side.
Freshman Stephanie Witbrod (Douglas, Wy). won the 100 hurdles, high jump, and triple jumps. The hurdles and triple jump titles were the first in women's program history. The high jump was the third in program history and first since 2018.
Bethany won five events over the two-day meet to set a school record for most event championships.
