BECKER, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran women's golf team competed at Day One of the UMAC Championships. The Vikings sit at a team total of 452 (+164) while Northwestern leads the field with a total of 349 (+61).
Lydia Schmid leads Bethany after the first day of action as she sits at 102 (+30) and sits in 18th place.
Olivia Krause is six strokes behind her at 108 (+36) to sit in 22nd, while
Brianna Lienig is in 28th with a 120 (+48). Rounding out the Viking scores were
Gianna Klarenbeek and
Isabella Garza who carded 122 (+50) and 129 (+57), respectively. Klarenbeek was one of just six players on the women's side to card a birdie on day one.Â
The Vikings will continue the UMAC Championships tomorrow with day two from Becker.Â
