ST. PAUL, Minn. - Bethany women's soccer fell 3-0 at Northwestern-St. Paul on Saturday afternoon, moving to 6-6-2 overall and 6-2-1 in the UMAC.
Northwestern netted the game-winning goal in the 17th minute and held on to a 1-0 lead after the first 45 minutes with a 10-2 advantage in shots.
The Eagles added insurances goals in the 61st and 67th minutes, both scored by UMAC goals leader Haley Mersberger. UNW out-shot Bethany 23-3 overall and 12-3 on goal as Arayah Baker made nine saves.
Bethany is back in action Tuesday at home against UM-Morris for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
