Vikings Claim Seventh at UMAC Indoor Championships

SUPERIOR, Wis. - The Bethany Lutheran men's track and field team Saturday competed in day two of the UMAC Championships hosted by UW-Superior and claimed a seventh place finish with 21 total team points. UW-Superior won the event with 242, while Martin Luther came in second with 184 and Crown in third at 91. 

Benjamin Halvorson had a strong day as he claimed a fourth place finish in the triple jump in his first UMAC Indoor Championship. Hurdlers Will Kaesermann and Matthew Koosman also posted strong performances as both put forth personal best efforts in the 60m hurdles to claim fifth and seventh, respectively.
