MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran women's soccer team suffered a decisive 10-0 loss at Augsburg on Saturday afternoon, falling to 0-3-0 overall.
Augsburg started its scoring spree in the fourth minute and never looked back. The Auggies added goals in the eighth, 12th, 16th, 17th, and 26th minutes for a comfortable 6-0 advantage at the break.
The home team added four more goals in the second half, while out-shooting the Vikings 24-3 (15-1 on goal).
Arayah Baker and Sara Lara Tabuena split time in goal. Tabuena made two saves and Baker made three.
Bethany is back on the road Wednesday at St. Scholastica.
