ST. PETER, Minn. - Bethany men's tennis kicked off its "spring" season late Saturday night at the Swanson Tennis Center with a 5-2 loss to Bethel. 

The Vikings were swept in doubles and then captured two victories in singles play. Declan Jones came back from a first set loss to win the next two, 7-5, 10-5 at the No. 2 spot, and Mark Barton also won in three sets at No. 3, 7-5, 4-6, 10-4.
