SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Bethany tennis earned a couple victories over Buena Vista on Saturday as the men won 7-0 and the women 5-2, improving to 4-2 and 3-2, respectively.
The men made quick work of the Beavers, sweeping doubles play for the first point, followed by straight-set victories in all six singles matches.
The women started their match with the doubles point despite defaulting in the No. 3 spot. The Vikings then won the top three singles in straight sets, while Madilyn Omar won in three sets at No. 4. The Vikings defaulted at Nos. 5 and 6.
Bethany is back in action next Saturday against Macalester in Rogers, Minn.
