ST. PAUL, Minn. - Bethany's Emily Doyle (Sr., Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) and Emily Meyer (Jr., Swea City, Iowa) were named UMAC Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Doyle led Bethany at the plate during its opening weekend dome invitational where the Vikings went 3-1. Doyle batted .556 with five hits, seven runs, two doubles, a triple, home run, five walks, and an RBI. She also recorded a 2.047 OPS and a 1.333 slugging percentage.

Meyer went 1-1 with a save in three appearances in the circle. Meyer recorded a 2.68 ERA in 15.2 innings with 12 strikeouts. She also had two complete games and walked just one batter in 60 at-bats.
