ST. PAUL, Minn. - Bethany men's soccer rolled to a 4-0 win at Northwestern-St. Paul on Saturday night, improving to 3-4-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the UMAC.
All four goals were scored in the first half as Jamie van Wijland got on the board first in the 11th minute, assisted by Guilherme Gancho. Midway through the period, Gancho found the back of the net with the help of Radrigo Cardoso.
The Vikings then scored twice in the 37th minute as Diogo Casta and Hugo Prag captured goals within 45 seconds of each other. Bethany held a 20-2 advantage in shots at half time.
The score remained 4-0 after full time with the Vikings leading in shots 28-5 (12-3 on goal). Brady Price earned the shutout after making three saves.
Bethany next travels to Crown on Tuesday night.
