ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. - Bethany men's soccer (4-4-1) improved to 3-0 in the UMAC with its second straight shutout, 2-0 at Crown on Tuesday.Â
Three minutes into the game, Emilio Barbajosa tallied his first career goal, which proved to be the game-winner. Pedro Henrique Meira de Morals then put the Vikings up 2-0 in the 32nd minute.
Bethany controlled possession for most of the game, out-shooting the Polars 26-4 overall and 15-2 on goal. The game was chippy on both sides with seven total yellow cards issued, including a red card on Mike van der Horst.Â
Reigning UMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week Brady Price made two saves in his second consecutive clean sheet.Â
Bethany is back home Saturday against North Central.Â
