Box Score Men's Soccer Falls in UMAC Semifinals to Number One Seeded Saints
DULUTH, Minn. –The Bethany men's soccer team defeated the Rams from North Central on Monday in the opening round of the postseason tournament before traveling to St. Scholastica on Wednesday to take on the first seeded Saints in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference semifinals.
St. Scholastica defeated Bethany by a final score of 10-0 on Wednesday. The Saints season will continue when they take on Wis.-Superior in the UMAC Championship on Saturday afternoon. The Vikings season comes to an end after the loss to the Saints.
Bethany finishes the season with a 6-13-3 overall record and 4-4-2 record in conference play. The squad ended the regular season in fifth place to advance to the UMAC postseason tournament. The Vikings earned their first playoff victory in men's soccer program history when they defeated North Central in the opening round of the tournament.
The 2015 men's soccer team was comprised of nine seniors who have contributed greatly to the soccer program. Bethany would like to congratulate
