OWATONNA, Minn. - After nearly pulling off the feat last weekend, the Bethany men's tennis team was able to complete the 9-0 sweep for the first time in program history by defeating North Central Saturday at the West Hills Tennis and Fitness Center in Owatonna.
Andrew Jelken had the most impressive performance on the evening winning his match at No. 2 singles without losing a single game.Â
Carter Dahl only lost one game at No. 4 singles,Â
Jason Buechler only dropped two games at No. 6 andÂ
Troy Hoyord lost three games at No. 5.Â
Brent Heflin won his match at No. 3 singles 6-2, 6-3. At No. 1 singles,Â
Jacob Kubler, needed a 10-7 win in the match tiebreak to keep the sweep alive.
Bethany had no troubles in winning their three doubles matches.Â
