NEW ULM, Minn. - The Bethany men's tennis team topped Martin Luther for the second time in as many weeks Wednesday with an 8-1 victory over the Knights.
The Vikings swept the six singles matches winning five of them in straight sets.Â
Carter Dahl had the most lopsided win of the afternoon as he only lost one game in his match at No. 3 singles. At No. 4 singles,Â
Troy Hoyord won 6-2, 6-2.Â
Andrew Jelkin only lost four games as well at No. 2 singles.Â

DJ Jackson won their matches at No. 1 and No. 6 singles in straights whileÂ
Jason Buechler needed a match tiebreaker to prevail at No. 5 singles.
Kubler and Dahl teamed for an easy 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles while Hoyord andÂ
Paul Riediger won their match at No. 3 doubles 8-3.
Bethany moves to 6-2 in the UMAC with a trip to Duluth to play St. Scholastica planned for Friday.
