MINNEAPOLIS - The most successful season in program history came to an end Friday night for the Bethany men's tennis team when they lost their UMAC Postseason Tournament semifinal dual with Northwestern 6-3.
Bethany and Northwestern split their three singles matches. The Vikings three wins came at the Nos 4-6 positions.Â
Carter Dahl won his match 6-4, 6-2;Â
Troy Hoyord beat his opponent 6-4, 6-0; andÂ
Jason Buechler shutout his opponent 6-0, 6-0.
The dual came down to the doubles matches and Northwestern took all three to claim the win.
Northwestern 6, Bethany 3Bethany's season ends with a 10-13 overall record and 7-3 mark in the UMAC.
