Edgewood Handles Bethany Men's Tennis
MADISON, Wis. – The Bethany men's tennis team traveled to the Powless Tennis Center for a non-conference match against Edgewood College. The Eagles pulled out three close matches in doubles to earn a 8-1 match victory over the Vikings.
Edgewood 8, Bethany Lutheran 1 The Vikings only point came at No. 5 singles and by the narrowest of margins.
Dexter Jackson edged out a 3-6, 6-2, 11-9 in a match tiebreaker.
Bethany (1-8) will return to the court on March 18
th against North Central in the season opening match in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference. The match will begin at 5 p.m. at the Lakeville Lifetime.
