MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (12-5-1 overall) travels to face St. Scholastica (7-12-1) Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in a semifinal match of the UMAC Tournament. The Saints are the two seed and the Vikings are the three seed.

The Series
The Saints own the series lead at 29-0-1, as the programs have met at least once a season since 2008. This includes the double overtime tie last Saturday in Duluth. The teams have met three times in the conference tournament, and St. Scholastica has previously won every game.

This is the first appearance in the conference tournament for the program since 2015.

Freshman Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) leads the team with 25 goals and three assists for 53 points. Classmate Marcel Campabadal (Vilassar de Mar, Catalonia, Spain) follow with 10 goals. Freshman Luke Oosterbosch (Veldhoven, The Netherlands) has a team-best 16 assists.

Senior Moritz Bruns (Leer, Germany) has a .703 save percentage, eight wins, and three shutouts.

Bruns is tied for first in goalkeeper wins (10), fifth in shutouts (4) and ninth in saves (112). Senior Samuel Duran (Marshall, Minn.) is the career leader in penalty kicks (5), tied for fifth in assists (10) and goals (18) and seventh in points (46). Classmate Jonny Sehloff (Mankato, Minn.) is tied for eighth in goals (13) and ninth in points (32).
