Box Score DULUTH, Minn.—Bethany Lutheran men's soccer's record-setting season came to a close Wednesday in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament semifinal game against St. Scholastica. The Saints won 3-0 to advance to the championship game Saturday.
The Vikings end the season 12-6-1. They tied the single season record in wins and shattered the program's marks in goals, assists, and points. This marked Bethany's first appearance in the conference tournament since 2015, which was one of the team's season goals.
St. Scholastica took the early lead at 4:31 and doubled its advantage seven minutes later to lead 2-0 at halftime. This remained the score until its final goal at 61:42.
Freshman Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) and junior Vincent Ayodi (Nairobi, Kenya) co-led BLC with one shot on goal.
