Box Score LAKEVILLE, MN – The Bethany Lutheran College men's tennis team opened Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play with a 5-4 win over North Central University. They played North Central earlier this season in non-conference action, defeating the Rams 6-3. The Vikings are now 3-4 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.
 
BLC picked up two points in their doubles matches to start the afternoon. Dalton Werckman and Carter Dahl paired up at #1 doubles, defeating their opponents 8-0. Laine Larson and Nico Martinez Biali helped the Vikings with an 8-3 win at #2 doubles.
 
In singles play, the Vikings won at the top three spots without dropping a single game. Laine Larson cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win at the top spot for his third win of the season. Dalton Werckman won 6-0, 6-0 at #2 and Carter Dahl won 6-0, 6-0 at #3.
 
Up next: The Vikings play Crown College on Saturday, March 30th at 1 PM in Chaska, MN at Southwest Christian High School.
