ST. PAUL, MN – The BLC Track and Field team was able to get outside today for their first outdoor meet of the spring. The Vikings traveled to St. Paul to participate in the Hamline University Invite at Klas Field which included a diverse field of NCAA DII and top DIII athletes.
 
The Viking women turned in a handful of top 25 finishes at the event. The best finishes for the Vikings included:

• Morgan Sauer, 23rd place, 400m hurdle, 1:17.95
• Marissa Voss, 19th place, High jump, 1.38m
• Laura Strom, 15th place, Pole vault, 2.53m
• Samantha Kneiss, Long jump, 3.57m
• Gabby Baker, 23rd place, Hammer throw, 33.04m
• Gabby Baker, 15th place, Javelin throw, 26.21m

 
The top finishes for the Vikings men included: 

• Stefan Prince, 9th place, 800m run, 1:59.20
• Benjamin Johnson, 25th place, Long jump, 4.73m
• Graham Lindgren, 17th place, Javelin throw, 35.12m
