BECKER, Minn. –  The Bethany Lutheran women's golf team is in fifth place after the first round of the UMAC Championships with a 424.

Junior Hayley Thompson (Victoria, Minn.) was the top finisher for the Vikings as she tied for second with an 86.

Northwestern leads the team race with its 356 and Payton Sierra of Minnesota Morris leads all individuals with an 82.
