HAM LAKE, Minn. – Junior Hayley Thompson (Victoria, Minn.) won the Northwestern Invite, which marked the fifth individual medalist honor in her career. She has now surpassed the four won by Abigail Lecy (2007-10).
This marked her fourth win of the season to break the record of three also set by Lecy in the 2008-09 season.
The Bethany Lutheran women's golf team placed fourth in the seven-team field with a 437. Host-Northwestern won the team race with its 371. This competition was held at Majestic Oaks Golf Club.
