ST. LOUIS, Mo. - United Soccer Coaches announced their All-Region teams on Tuesday afternoon and Daniel Almeida of Bethany Lutheran men's soccer was named Second Team All-Region in Region IX. It is Almeida's first career All-Region honor and marks the fourth straight year Bethany has had a player selected to an All-Region team.

The sophomore led the Bethany attack this season as he posted 18 goals to go along with eight assists for 44 points. Almeida's 18 goals on the season were tied for the ninth most in all of NCAA Division III while his 44 points were tied for eighth.
