SUPERIOR, Wis. - The Bethany Lutheran women's golf team competed at the Twins Ports Invite hosted by UW-Superior this weekend and took seventh place. The Vikings finished with a 439 (+151) on Saturday before a 430 (+142) on Saturday. Augsburg won the event with a two day total of (+87).

Lydia Schmid shot two sub-100 rounds for the Vikings this weekend as she posted a 95 (+23) Saturday followed by a 99 (+27) Saturday to finish tied for 23rd. Olivia Krause was next for Bethany as she finished 37th following a 111 (+39) on Saturday and a 100 (+28) Sunday, while Gianna Klarenbeek shot 119 (+47) followed by 112 (+40). Bella Garza would round out the Viking scores as she shot a 118 (+46) followed by a 119 (+47).

The Vikings will now be back in action on Thursday when they travel to Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, Minn. for the UMAC Preview.
