Box Score ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Bethany women's volleyball team was back on the court Friday night after a 9-day layoff to face a Northwestern team that had only one UMAC loss coming in. The Eagles showed why they have only one setback as they defeated the Vikings in straight sets (25-14, 25-12, 25-14).

Jessi Jurries led BLC with 15 digs on the evening. Miranda Krenske had nine assists with Emily Franzen close behind with eight and Caitlin Decker added five kills.

For Northwestern, Krista Stoltz had 37 assists. Kendra Korporal added 14 digs and 13 kills.

Bethany (4-17, 3-5 in UMAC) is back in action Saturday at North Central.
