Women's Cross Country Places First at Viterbo Twilight, Men Fourth
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Bethany cross country teams began their 2016 season on Friday night, competing in the fourth annual Viterbo Twilight Hokum Karem. The women's cross country team opened the year by placing first in the event while the men's team finished in fourth place.

Head Coach Michael Dunn stated this following the men's performance, "
The coaching staff is proud of the fight and determination of the men, knowing we did not have our full team participating tonight. We look forward to another week of training in preparation for our meet next week at UW-River Falls."

The women's team has been working extremely hard since the first day of practice, and the results today showed that hard work does pay off. Not only did we win the race tonight, the entire team was having fun and supporting one another throughout the event.
