ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn.-- Senior Stefan Prince (Prior Lake, Minn.) paced the Bethany Lutheran men's cross country team at the Crown Invite Friday with his seventh place finish (35:36.7).
Â
The Vikings placed third with 66 points.
"The men ended up running a 5.7mile race (9200m) instead of a 5 mile race (8000m) due to the race having no lead cart and not being well marked," said head coach Michael Dunn. "The Crown course is known to be difficult, muddy, wet and hilly but this added unpredicted element created a new layer of difficulty. The result due to the chaotic race management was slow times and the most odd race I have ever been a part of as a coach or athlete."
