EAU CLAIRE, Wis.-- Senior Stefan Prince (Prior Lake, Minn.) ran the 16^th fastest time in program history at the Blugold Invite Friday as he crossed the line at 27:50.9.
 
The Bethany Lutheran men's cross country team took 27^th with 801 points.
 
"In a loaded field at Eau Claire, our men raced first and every one of them had season bests and many of them including Stefan had the best races of their lives," said head coach Michael Dunn. "In only the second time in team history, the top 5 men ran under 30 minutes and also for the first time, three finished under 29 minutes.
 
"Our men fought hard today and collectively had the best race any team has had in Vikings history," he continued. "We can celebrate that but we need to keep working if we want to keep climbing as a team."
