SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Bethany Lutheran men's cross country team placed fifth in the eight-team field at the UMAC Championships with 116 points. This was the fourth-straight year the Vikings placed fifth at this meet.
This meet took place at the Nemadji Golf Course.
Senior Jakin Anderson (Belle Plaine, Minn.) finished sixth with his time of 28:09.40, which earned him First-team All-Conference honors. This marked the first All-Conference honoree for the program since 2015. "I'm really proud of what I was able to do today," he said. "I fought through mental and physical adversity and heard the cheering and fed off of it."
Anderson's time stands as 21
st best on Bethany's all-time list.
