MANKATO, Minn. -- The Bethany Lutheran women's soccer team (13-5-1 overall) opens the UMAC Tournament at Northwestern (11-5-2) Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
This is the third-straight year the Vikings have qualified for the UMAC Tournament and ties their highest seed (previously No. 3 seed in 2010, and 2014). BLC is 2-6-1 all-time in the tournament.

The Series
UNW owns the series lead at 25-5-4. The Eagles won the first regular season meeting and the two teams drew a double overtime tie in the second game.

BLC is off to the best start in program history after 15 games.
Senior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) leads the team with 15 goals and eight assists for 38 points. Sophomore Lexi Kaufman (Fairmont, Minn.) and freshman Olaitz Azkue Muguruza (
Orduna, Spain) follow with seven.
Senior Zoe Kinakin (Victoria, British Columbia) leads the goalkeepers with 12 wins, seven shutouts, and 80 saves.
Career Record Watch
Perry continues to extend her lead as the career leader in goals (57), points (134), and game-winning goals (18). She is tied for third in assists (21) and tied for sixth in games started (70).
Kinakin is tied for first in keeper wins (18), third goalie games started (34), fourth in goalie games played (38) and in shutouts (9), and fifth in saves (217).
Sophomore Juana Quevedo (Bogota, Columbia) is tied for fifth in penalty kicks (1).

Megan Moeller leads the teamw ith 17 goals for 34 points. Keeper Ellie Fryer has played the most in net and has 10 wins, two shutouts, and 68 saves.
