WINTHROP, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran men's cross country team Saturday competed in the UMAC Championships, taking seventh of seven teams with a team score of 156.
Leading the Vikings was
Josiah Hoppe who finished in 17th place with a time of 28:46.0, while
James Younge was next with a time of 29:45.9 for 30th place.
Benjamin Halvorson was the next to cross the finish line as he finished in 31:50.3 for 43rd place, with
Teien Murphy behind him in 56th with a time of 33:45.8. Rounding out the scores for Bethany was
Joshua Hecksel, who finished in 65th with a time of 38:12.6.
The Vikings will be back in action next Friday when they travel to Luther for the Saga Cup.
