ST. PAUL, Minn. - Bethany first year Miguel Goncalves (Ourem, Portugal) was named UMAC Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. 

Goncalves helped Bethany go 2-0 last week with wins over Martin Luther (7-1) and Crown (3-0). Goncalves tallied one goal and two assists between the two games. Goncalves and the defense also limited Martin Luther to two shots on goal and Crown just one shot on goal.
