MANKATO, Minn. - On a cool and rainy evening Tuesday at Scheels Field, the Bethany men's soccer team wrapped up non-conference play with a 3-0 win over Hamline, improving to 11-5-2 overall. 
Goncalo Nolasco scored the game-winner at the 33:00 mark, netting his seventh goal of the season on a corner kick from Miguel Goncalves. Bethany was strong possessing the ball and out-shot the Pipers 17-6 in the opening 45 minutes. 
In the 51st minute, Diogo Cavalcanti sent a through ball to Vincente Oliveira who finished the play in the back of the net for his fifth goal of the year. And in the 72nd minute, Goncalves recorded his second assist of the game, connecting with Gijs van Eldik for his sixth goal of the season. 
Bethany out-shot Hamline 26-8 overall and 9-5 on goal. Daniel Hughes made three saves and earned his fourth clean sheet of the season. 
The Vikings wrap up regular season conference play Friday night at UW-Superior with the UMAC title on the line. A Bethany win would secure at least a share of the regular season championship.
