DUBUQUE, Iowa - Bethany men's soccer suffered a 3-0 loss at Loras on Saturday, dropping to 0-4-2 overall.
The Duhawks scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 27th minute and added another just 21 seconds later. Loras led 2-0 at half with a 12-3 shot advantage.
Bethany flip the pressure in the second half, out-shooting the home squad 14-4, but couldn't find the back of the net. Loras added a third goal in the 80th minute.
The Vikings finished with a 17-16 advantage in shots, but Loras led 9-5 in shots on goal. Daniel Hughes made five saves in goal.
Bethany begins conference play Wednesday afternoon at UM-Morris with a 2 p.m. kickoff.
