ST. PAUL, Minn. - Bethany junior Anthony Nicolai (Saint Peter) was named UMAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. 

Nicolai started the week with a sixth place finish Tuesday at Dakotah Ridge Golf Course as the Vikings won the Wittenberg Cup. Nicolai carded a seven-over par 79. Nicolai then won the UMAC Preview on Thursday, scoring an even-par 72 at Pebble Creek Golf Course. Nicolai tied with teammate Tyson Wicklund and Kaden Burshiem of UM-Morris but then won the first playoff hole with a par to earn medalist honors outright.
