St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Bethany Men lost a tough match Thursday to Crown by a score of 1-2. BLC’s men now face a tough road to get to the Final Four this year.
Ryan Bolte (Colorado Springs, Colo. / Fountain Fort Carson) was in goal for the men Thursday, allowing two goals off of 18 shots with three saves.
Joe Lundsten (Watertown, Wis. / Watertown) scored Bethany’s lone goal of the game with an unassisted strike with 59 seconds left in the game.
Bethany’s men played really well in this loss, moving the ball well and putting it through for good runs, they just lacked the finishing touch to get the ball in the net.
Bethany will try and pull a win from Northwestern in the Cities on Saturday. The Vikes are now 2-5 in conference play and 4-8 on the season.
