Box Score MANKATO, Minn. - The Bethany volleyball squad came into Wednesday night's match with Martin Luther a match behind St. Scholastica in the UMAC standings for fourth place. With the top four seeds making the postseason tournament and only three matches remaining, a win over the Knights was crucial. MLC proved too tough though as BLC fell in three sets (25-19, 25-16, 25-16).
Emily Franzen and
Miranda Krenske had double digits for Bethany in assists with 13 and 11 respectively.
Caitlin Decker led with eight kills and
Amanna Berthusen added seven.
Jessi Jurries had 16 digs and
Kasslin Swenson served four aces.
Bethany (6-19, 5-7 in UMAC) closes out the regular season with a pair of home matches starting with St. Scholastica on Friday at 7 p.m.
