Matt Bitter kept the Knights off the scoreboard as Bethany got a huge 2-0 win.
The win, along with a Northwestern loss to St. Scholastica, puts Bethany (5-10-2, 5-4-2 in UMAC) in fourth place with three games to go.
The two teams were scoreless in the first half.
Ben Moldstad though broke through in the 59th minute to give Bethany the lead off a feed from
Jacob Friendt.
Broderick Brown then doubled the lead for BLC in the 71st minute when he was helped by
Lee Leal.
Bitter made four saves in net as Bethany outshot Martin Luther 14-12.
Bethany stays on the road for another key match Saturday at Minn.-Morris.
