Box Score NEW ULM, Minn. - Bethany came into Wednesday night's UMAC volleyball match needing a win to stay in contention for a UMAC postseason playoff berth, but Martin Luther had their own hopes of clinching the final postseason spot and the Knights were the ones who came out on top with a three game sweep of the Vikings 25-16, 25-17, 25-22.

Three players reached double figures in digs for Bethany: Emily Franzen (16), Jessi Jurries (11), and Morgan Wenninger (10). Franzen had 24 assists and Amanna Berthusen led with eight kills.

Bethany (6-18, 5-7 in UMAC) wraps up the season with a pair of home matches beginning Friday against North Central at 7 p.m.
